Instructions

To create a Sorting question:

1. From the Content Repository, click the Create New drop-down menu and select Question/Text.
2. Enter ‘Fractions’ as the Question Name.
3. In the Question Text Field, enter the following,
   
   Sort the following fractions in order from smallest to largest.
    
4. On the next line click Response Area to launch the Edit Response Area dialog.
5. Under Choose Question Type, select Sorting.
6. Add additional boxes using Add Item.
7. In the first box, click Equation Editor and enter 1/4.
8. In the second box, click Equation Editor and enter 2/5.
9. In the third box, 1/2.
10. In the fourth box, 3/4.
11. In the fifth box, 3/2.
12. In the sixth box, 7/3. Click OK.
13. Click Preview to view and test the question.
14. Click Save & Close. You will return to the Content Repository.
